Start with the deposit you already planned
A Malta casino bonus becomes easier to read when you begin with your own deposit amount. The percentage determines the bonus calculation. The cap limits how far it can grow. Free spins are a separate reward, while a welcome package may combine several deposit stages. Keep those four parts apart and the largest number stops dominating the comparison.
For a simple illustration, a qualifying €50 deposit with a 100% match produces a €50 bonus. A €500 cap does not change that calculation. You do not need to increase a planned deposit to work out whether an offer suits you.
What is the bonus amount?
Illustration with a €500 bonus cap. The combined amount is not a withdrawable balance. A real offer has its own terms.
Three formats in the MaltaKasinon list
| Format | Example in the comparison | Read this first |
|---|---|---|
| Percentage bonus with free spins | DudeSpin: 300% up to €2,000 + 150 free spins | The qualifying deposit and the game attached to the spins |
| Larger welcome package | Smash: 600% up to €10,000; Gambiva: 800% up to €10,000 | The allocation between the package stages |
| Match bonus with a defined cap | Dragonia and Robocat: 100% up to €500 + 200 free spins | Minimum deposit, spin value and game conditions |
Dragonia also lists a bonus crab. Lucky Dreams lists 100% up to €500 and 100 free spins. These differences give you several ways into the offers: read a larger package, combine a percentage with spins, or compare two brands with the same main bonus.
Find the offer links and editorial scores in our Malta casino comparison. The figures above describe the listed offers. The calculations below are illustrations, not additional conditions attributed to a particular casino.
A welcome package has more than one stage
A headline of 600% or 800% can combine several deposit bonuses. If you plan one deposit, the first stage is the useful starting point. The allocation can also determine whether free spins arrive with that first bonus or later in the package.
Write down the stage you would use, its percentage and its cap. Compare it with the equivalent stage at the other casino. That is more useful than comparing a combined package total with another brand’s single-deposit match.
Check whether stages must be activated in order, whether a deadline applies between deposits and whether a bonus code is needed. These are questions about the structure; the headline percentage does not answer them.
Free spins need a game and a stake value
Two hundred spins on a game you do not enjoy may be less relevant than one hundred on a slot you already wanted to try. The stake per spin matters too. For example, 100 spins at €0.10 have a nominal stake value of €10. That is not a guaranteed return or €10 ready to withdraw.
Read whether the spins arrive together or in batches, when they expire and what happens to any winnings. Look for a separate winnings cap. A short note for each condition is easier to use than trying to remember a long promotional paragraph.
The conditions that can change your choice
| Condition | The question it needs to answer |
|---|---|
| Minimum deposit | Does the amount I already planned qualify? |
| Wagering base | Does the multiplier apply to the bonus or the deposit and bonus? |
| Game contribution | How much of a stake counts in the game I want? |
| Maximum stake | Is there a betting limit while the bonus is active? |
| Expiry | When do the bonus and spins expire? |
| Withdrawal conditions | Is there a winnings cap or a condition tied to requesting a payout? |
In an illustrative example, a 10% contribution means a €10 stake adds €1 towards the wagering requirement. It says nothing about the result of that stake. Also read whether particular games are excluded entirely. Appearing in the lobby does not automatically make a game eligible for the offer.
Calculate turnover without mixing up balances
With a €50 bonus and a requirement of 30 times the bonus, the turnover is €1,500. If the requirement instead applies to a €50 deposit plus the €50 bonus, the base is €100 and the turnover becomes €3,000. The same multiplier produces a different result because the base changed.
Calculate the turnover
Illustrative calculation. Turnover does not predict a win or a loss.
Enter the base specified in the terms. The calculator multiplies two numbers; it does not assess eligible games or expiry. Turnover describes a promotional condition. It is not a new amount that must be deposited into the account.
Reload offers, cashback and rewards after the welcome
A reload bonus is an offer on a later deposit. Cashback can be calculated from a specified result over a defined period. A loyalty programme may use points or levels. These formats can interest someone who already enjoys the casino, but their names do not establish the terms.
For cashback, read the calculation period, included games, cap and whether the reward becomes cash or bonus funds. With a reload offer, the percentage, activation and wagering conditions remain important. We do not assign a recurring promotion to the six casinos unless it appears in the offer being shown.
A no-deposit bonus is another format. It must explicitly be available without a deposit; a free-spin headline alone does not establish that.
If live casino is your main interest
Choose the table before choosing the bonus. A slots offer may give live tables a low contribution or exclude them altogether. Roulette, blackjack and baccarat can also be treated differently within the same promotion. Find the game category in the terms and look for exceptions naming particular tables.
Our live casino guide explains formats, table rules and mobile controls. Once the table suits you, decide whether a bonus adds anything. Playing without one can be the simpler option for the session you had in mind.
Compare the part you will actually use
Take two offers and note your planned deposit, bonus amount, eligible game, wagering base and expiry. If both fit, the spin title or next package stage may settle the choice. If using an offer requires changing your whole approach to playing, its headline is a weaker reason to choose it.
Return to the casino list with one clear priority. You can then judge an offer by what it means for your plans rather than how large its number looks beside another.
